A beautiful pair of Japanese style lamps made out of painted ceramic and gilded bronze .
Two japanese women are represented in wearing a traditional costume with fan or umbrella. They are surrounded by plants and insects or birds represented in golden paint, which gives a great preciousness to this pair of lamps.
They have two spheres created by la Maison Baccarat. This model is reproduced in the 1907 – 1908 edition of the Compagnie des Cristalleries de Baccarat's catalogue with all the prices of the lighting products of the Maison (model E201, p.39).
