This Napoleon III style fireplace was made in Belgium in the 19th century. Its straight lines are highlighted by panels and columns made out of Sea Green marble. The columns,sculpted in the round, are placed in front of the jambs and are slightly detached from them. The entablature is punctuated by three panels framed by moldings.
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor.
