This fireplace model called "lion's paws" or "claw feet" is characteristic of the Napoleon III style. Made out of white Carrara marble during the 19th century, this fireplace is decorated with molded panels and diamonds. The legs are suppoted by stylized lion's paws and above them, appears a crinkled oak leaf.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert but without its marble floor. The marble floor could be made to order.
