This vase features a rich decoration of flowers and gold spangles. It is signed “E.Gallé nancy E G registered”. It dates from between 1879 and 1930. This vase, due to its size and the richness of its decoration, is a rare piece of the ceramic work of Émile Gallé. It rests on a harness with Japanese decor. Emile Gallé is one of the main artists of the Art Nouveau movement. Emile Gallé's ceramics appear in prestigious museum institutions around the world.
