Charming small cast iron fireback made in the early 20th century. The scene depicted is largely inspired by the 18th-century gallant scenes : in a Rocaille frame made of foliage, vines embellished with bunches of grapes and shells, a woman is dancing to the sound of the drum played by the musician background.
