This beautiful Neo-Gothic fireplace, made out of walnut was made during the 19th century. Featuring a hood, it rests on two jambs made up of double columns. The entablature is decorated with molded panels which frame a central panel. The central panel features a man's hooded head, carved in low relief, set in a medallion. The entablature is also decorated with carved folded features. This decoration is very typical of the Middle Age Renaissance, frequently decorated wth doors and armes, as well as paneled features.
