Made out of Onyx marble from Algeria, this exquisite antique fireplace features a very rare carved decor. Following the Louis XV style, it is decorated with a central asymmetrical shell in the rococo style. The jambs are very curved and fluted. They are also decorated at their upper parts with beautiful foliage made up of shells. This style is equally rare because of its carved decor, as well as the use of unsual onyx colours.
This fireplace is sold with its original three square marble floor but without any fireplace insert.
