Some accidents and restorations on top and jambs. Marble sides are from the 19th century.
This large antique Louis XV style fireplace was made during the 18th century out of Blanc de Carrare marble and Sarrancolin Fantastico marble inlaid decoration. The finely curved lines of this fireplace are carved with panels and modillions, bells towards the top of the jambs, and a beautifully designed shell in the centre of the entablature. The inlays of Sarrancolin Fantastico marble give this antique fireplace a beautiful luminosity.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor.
