This antique Louis XV style fireplace, Pompadour model, was realized in Brèche d’Alep Marble during the 19th century. It has the typical characteristics of the model, named after the favorite mistress of King Louis XV : the paneled and canted jambs support a curved frieze adorned with a central medallion.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
