This antique Regence style mantel was made in the second half of the 19th century in Escalette marble.
The slightly curved console jambs are adorned with large acanthus leaves and scrolls, they support a curved entablature underlined by a large molding. The center of the entablature is carved with a shell from which pearled acanthus leaves escape.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace and with its marble floor, which is broken but will be restored in our workshop.
