This very nice little Louis XV style fireplace was realized in Breche de Montmeyan marble in the second half of the 19th century. This coloured marble is relatively rare. The shell decorating the center of the frieze, with rocaille inspiration, is delicately sculptured. The legs of this fireplace are slightly slender, conferring a lightness on this model.
This fireplace is sold without any insert nor marble floor but can be made on order (subject to the choice of the marble).
