Of Louis XVI inspiration, this mantel presents straight jambs that are fluted and filleted in the lower third. They rise up to two finely carved square acanthus leaf rosettes. The frieze has a sober design with a simple molding that creates a rectangular panel motif.
A cast iron insert is available.
The marble is not yet precisely identified. Most likely it is a Breche, probably an Italian violet Breche.
