Some chips and stains. The shelf has been restored. The sides could be changed to order.
This grand fireplace from the Louis XVI period was made out of white Carrara marble during the 18th century. Tha half column jambs feature filleted fluting and asparagus heads and are supported by concentric capitals of acanthus leaves. The entablatature is decorared with a line of finely carved pearls.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor.
