This exceptionally beautiful Louis XVI style antique fireplace in white Carrara marble was made in the 19th century. The entablature is most finely carved with a quiver, bow and laurel leaves. The curved jambs are adorned with plump acanthus leaves, a rolled ribbon pattern over the full height of the leg and square rosettes.
The sides of this fireplace are panelled and adorned with air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
