This Louis XV style fireplace was made during the 19th century in a beautiful Carrara marble. This fireplace with curved shapes and winding jambs is characteristic of the Louis XV style.A rococo inspired shell adorns the center of the frieze, surrounded by small and finely carved flowers thanks to the precious Carrara marble. The consoçles-feet with windings are also decorated with shells.
This fireplace is sold with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
