This very beautiful antique Louis XV style fireplace was made during the 19th century out of Arabescato marble, from the Carrara area in Italy. The carved decoration of the fireplace is very elegant. The entablature is decorated with a beautiful shell and the legs are very curved. The heads of the legs are decorated with shells aswell.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert but without any hearth. A hearth could be made to order (depending on the choice of marble).
