This beautiful Napoleon III style fireplace was made in the 19th century. The modillons are sculpted in water leaves resting on corbels of the same shape, and the heads of the entablature are worked in diamond points. The Belgium black marble, characteristic of the Napoleon III style , brings out by a fine play of light the sculpture of the panels on the jambs and on the entablature, decorated with a diamond in its center.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order.
