This exceptionally beautiful and rare Louis XVI style antique fireplace in Panazeau marble was made in the 19th century. The sculptures on the entablature and jambs are in gilded bronze: beautiful finely carved cornucopia on the entablature, framed by a thin line of pearls. The jambs are fluted and embellished with asparagus heads and square rosettes in bronze.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This could be made to order.
