This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century. Simple and elegant, this fireplace was made in "Serpentinite Chenaillet" marble with deep tones. At the top of the delicately fluted and slightly curved jambs were carved square naturalist rosettes typical of the Louis XVI style and its taste for the bucolic. They support a paneled frieze.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor.
