In good condition. The feet are slightly yellowed.
This antique Louis XVI style fireplace was made in the 19th century in a beautiful Semi-Statuary Carrara marble. The finely fluted jambs support a frieze with rounded corners adorn with naturalistic square rosettes. In the center of the paneled frieze, a relief panel is decorated with four small flowers of great finesse.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
