In good condition. A crack on the side.
This antique fireplace was made in the 19th century in white Carrara veined marble.
The entablature is decorated with three paterae (florets) and moldings.
Round corners with fluted jambs embellished with foliages.
On each sides of the chimney rectangular hinged ventilation ports.
The modern cast iron insert uses Louis XVI style ornaments, such as : laurels, garland of flowers, knotted ribbons, ribbons rushes and trumpets.
This fireplace is sold without marble floor. It can be made to order.
