This antique Louis XV style fireplace was made out of Carrara marble during the 19th century. This style called "three shells" is decorated, as the name suggests it, with three shells placed in the center of the entablature and at the heads of the legs.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any hearth. A hearth could be made to order.
