This antique Louis XV style fireplace was realized in White Carrara marble in the 19th century. This model is called "three shells" as the center of the band, as the heads of the jambs are decorated with reversed shells. The sides of the fireplace are filled with air vents.
This marble fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert, richly decorated with flowers bouquets. This antique fireplace is sold without any marble floor but this one could be made on order.
