This very beautiful Louis XV style fireplace was made out of Alabastro di Busca marble during the 19th century. This extraordinary marble is extremely rare and makes this fireplace extremely original. The middle of the entablature is decorated with a shell. Rolled-up jambs are decorated with a little shell at the top.
This fireplace is sold with its original brass insert but there isn't any hearth.
The fireplace has never been restored: the scratches are originals. We can propose some restoration work if needed.
