This Louis XV style fireplace was realized in the 19th century. It is a Pompadour model fireplace in breccia marble of Serravezza.
Of Louis XV style , one recognizes the Pompadour fireplace to the decoration of its frieze decorated with a central medallion (stylized variant of the shell pattern).
The jambs of this model are rounded bracket feet and the heads of the frieze are adorned with scrolls.
This fireplace is sold with its original marble floor but without any fireplace insert.
