This antique Louis XV style fireplace, was made of Enjugerais marble during the 19th century. It has the typical characteristics of the Pompadour model, named after the favorite mistress of King Louis XV : the paneled and canted jambs support a curved frieze adorned with a central medallion.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert and original marble floor.
