In very good condition. The top was made later.
This antique Louis XIV style mantel was made in red Languedoc marble.
Fireplaces like this one are called "Bolection mantle", thanks to its moldings faming the hearth.
This fireplace is sold with its original cast iron insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order.
