This beautiful antique Louis XVI style fireplace, made out of white Carrara marble, dates back to the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is finely carved with oak leaves intertwined and connected by a ribbon. The legs are decorated with coiled ribbons and topped with beautiful acanthus leaves. The sides of the fireplace are panneled and filled with beautiful perforated air vents.
This fireplace is sold with its original enameled insert but could be sold with a modern cast iron insert. The original hearth is not available but one could be made to order.
