Napoleon III style mantel carved in Carrara marble in the second half of the 19th century. The entablature is decorated in the centre with a cartouche framed with scrollwork and vegetal motifs. The hearth opening is underlined by a continuous molding. The curved console jambs are adorned with drooping acanthus leaves.
This fireplace comes with an antique cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
