Antique Louis XV style andirons made out of gilded bronze with putti decor

This exceptionally beautiful pair of Louis XV style antique andirons was made in gilded bronze in the 19th century. Two putti adorn these andirons and support large garlands of flowers.

Fireback "Aeneas leaving Troy with Anchise and Ascagne"

This square fireback was cast in the 19th century. It is adorned with a mythological scene depicting Aeneas leaving Troy with his son Ascagne and his father Anchise that he's holding on his back. The scene is framed by acanthus leaves scrolls.

Louis XV style fireback decorated with a gallant scene

Made of cast iron, this fireback is decorated with a scene largely inspired by 18th century gallant scenes. In a rocaille frame made of foliage, large acanthus leaves and volutes, a seated woman holds a small bird in her hand and turns her head towards the man sitting next to her playing the flute.

Fireback with the arms of Leopold I, Duke of Lorraine and Bar

Fireback with the coat of arms of Leopold I, Duke of Lorraine and Bar, son of Charles V, titular Duke of Lorraine and Bar and Eleonore of Austria. Knight of the Golden Fleece in 1690, he married Elisabeth Charlotte of Orleans, daughter of Philippe, Duke of Orleans and Charlotte-Elisabeth of Bavaria, Princess Palatine, in October 1698. He was responsible for the reconstruction of the Château de Lunéville from 1703 to 1723, when the court moved in.
