Beautiful antique Empire style fireplace in Sea Green marble with bronze ornaments

This beautiful antique Empire style fireplace was made out of Vert de Mer marble towards the end of the 19th century. Two detached colums make up the jambs of this antique fireplace. The entablature is decorated with the following gilded bronze ornaments: women's heads set in medallions, foliage, and rosettes.

"The Crimean Battle", antique cast iron fireback

Small fireback made out of cast iron in the 20th century. It represents a wounded soldier during an episode of the Crimean War, a conflict between the Russian Empire and a coalition of the Ottoman Empire, the Empire of Napoleon III, the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Sardinia, 1854-1856. It is triggered by the fear of the declining Ottoman Empire fall to Russian expansionism.

Beautiful antique cast iron fireback with the Jannon family coat of arms, 18th century

This beautiful antique Louis XV style fireback was made in the 18th century. It presents the coat of arms of the Jannon family: Gules with three cinquefoils of silver. Two griffons are on both sides, the whole is surmounted by a Marquis crown. It may be a fireback for Jean Jannon, who died in 1726, an honorary councilor at the Burgundy Parliament.

Cast iron fireback with the wedding coat of arms of Abel-Claude-Marthe-Marie-Cécile de Vichy, said the marquis de Vichy (8th of october 1740 - shot down on the 15th of october 1793 in Lyon), comte de Champrond, guidon des gendarmes de Bourgogne et du Berry en 1769, chevalier de Saint-Louis with Claude-Josèphe-Marie de Saint-Georges (21st of november 1742 - 26th january 1775), married on the 5th of december 1764. Ecu de gauche : de vair plain. Ecu de droite : d'argent à une croix de gueules Couronne de marquis, collier de l'Ordre de Saint-Louis, tenant et support : un homme sauvage et un lion. Inscription : TANTUM VALET QUANTUM SONAT
