Pair of cast iron Louis XVI style vase with theirs originals bases

These ornamental cast iron vases were made in the 20th century. Antique style, a fluted column is decorated with asparagus tips. Around it stands a garland of laurel leaves, which falls in bouquet. At the top of the column is the vase, a crater, also surrounded by a floral garland (here oak leaves). The vase is decorated with antique style medallions, female profile faces.

Important and rare door from an Haussmannian building in oakwood, late 19th century

These high oak doors were built in the late 19th century. In very good condition, the details were carefully executed : fine moldings discretely rhythm the structure, as well as the inlaid marquetry panels at the bottom of the doors. The sleek design of these doors highlights the fluid lines that animate the top of the composition, carved with foliage, flowers, and beautiful shells.

CREIL-MONTEREAU Manufacture - Beautiful antique planter with faux cloisonné flowers decor and base made out of gilded bronze and patinated bronze with elephant heads decor

This beautiful planter was made out of enameled faience by the famous Creil-Montereau Manufacture in the Oise Department of France, ca. 1880. The feet shaped like elephant heads and the base imitating the texture of bamboo with gilt bronze show the influence of Oriental art on French artists during the second half of the 19th century. The planter’s body features a magnificent decoration of peonies and fans on a Turquoise-blue background. The painter imitated the cloisonné enamels technique by painting on gold-colored cracks. The factory’s stamp proves the origin of this object and the floral décor resembles the Flora motif that was one of the Creil manufacture’s most successful creations, exhibited at the World’s Fair of 1855 in Paris.

Set of parquet panels of different wood species, from the 20th century

Set of square shaped parquet panels, made of three different wood species including walnut and oak. Dimensions of each panel 20,08 x 20,08 inch. The set consists of 40 full panels and 20 half panels. All this for a surface area of about 12 m2.

Old wrought iron entrance door of a Napoleon III period mansion.

This old entrance door was made in the second half of the 19th century in wrought iron. It is composed of a lintel and a single leaf door. It presents an openwork decoration in repoussé iron sheet in Regency style composed of foliage partly inhabited by acanthus leaves. The frames were originally glazed but the glass is damaged and missing.

Cast iron fireback with the wedding coat of arms of Joseph-François de Montecler et Hyacinthe Menon de Turbilly. Joseph-François de Montecler, marquis of Montecler, (1694-1766) married in 1716 Hyacinthe Menon de Turbilly (1699-1742), lady of La Rongère, of who the marquis de Sourches praised the beauty.
