Louis XV style bed alcove in oak, beginning of the 20th century

This Louis XV bed alcove was made in oak at the beginning of the 20th century. It presents in a semi-circle a rich sculpted Rococo style decor composed of flowers garlands, scrolls and acanthus leaves, that is framing in its center a painting of putti in a very colorful decor of flowers. The spandrels are sculpted with a netting adorned with flowers. On each sides of the alcove, two oak double doors are also adorned with a rich sculpted Rococo style decor composed of acanthus leaves scrolls and stylized selles.

Exceptional pair of double Louis XV curved doorsn decorated on the two faces

This pair of double curved doors was made in the late 19th century od painted in white wood. They are adorned on their two faces with a very beautiful Rococo decor in low relief. The brass locks and handles on the sunck part depict a remarkable chiseled decoration made in a very fine way composed of plants also in a Louis XV style.

This set is composed of two doors and one double door made in the 19th century of wood painted in white. They are adorned on one side with paneled decor lightened up with Rococo motifs in slight relief such as a shell in acanthus leaves scrolls.

Cast iron fireback with the coat of arms of France

Cast iron fireback with the coat of arms of the House of Bourbon, a royal house of French origin that became a major dynasty in Europe, with kings in Spain (Navarre), France, the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies and Parma. Bourbon kings ruled in France from 1589 until the French Revolution, and for short periods thereafter. The coat of arms consists of a crown surmounting a medallion adorned with three fleur-de-lys, symbol of purity and royalty. The palm leaves on either side of the medallion symbolise victory. The date "1784" is inscribed above the coat of arms.

GEOFFROY-DECHAUME, “Persian” Chandelier

Elegant eight-light chandelier made of finely chased and gilt bronze with oriental-inspired decoration. The central shaft takes the shape of an openwork incense burner, topped with a stylized flame. The elaborately adorned light arms feature pearls and interlacing motifs, incorporating fantastic animal figures and ending in openwork drip pans. The whole piece is suspended by a system of slender rods, accented with rings and Gothic-oriental motifs.
