Rare Louis XVI style clock with turning dial with young shepherdess decor, Statuary marble and gilt bronze

This rare Louis XVI style clock was made in the 19th century. The clock itself has a turning dial at the top of a Statuary marble urn. The Roman numerals pass and a gilt bronze snake indicates the hour. The urn is indeed decorated with gilt bronze , in particular very detailed and finely chiselled garlands. The base is also ornamented with acanthus leaves, flowers and pearls forming beautiful scrolls. Last but not least, a young shepherdess in gilt bronze , barefoot, stands next to the urn, evoking the rural imagination of the 18th century. The face, the hairstyle and the clothes of the girl are described with precision and finesse, creating beautiful reliefs.

Louis XV oak paneled room with its fireplace and a canvas by Paul Tavernier

This paneled room made at the end of the 20th century with moulded and sculpted oak, is presented with its stone fireplace and its original cast iron interior and a large oil on canvas depicting a hunt with hounds scene in the Fontainebleau Castle's park, painted by Paul Tavernier (1852 – 1943) in 1925. In our ensemble, the oil on canvas by Paul Tavernier is presented in an alcove decorated on its middle by a shell and scrolls sculpted in the wood. The canvas is surrounded by two bookcases. The oak panels are slightly decorated with wood moulding and sculptures depicting flowers and scrolls. There is on the next wall, a Louis XV stone fireplace with its original cast iron interior. It's decorated on its middle with a shell surrounded by flowers on each side. On the top of the mirror an elegant wood decor is sculpted, it depicts again a shell on the middle and scrolls. On the other side of the room, facing it, an other but larger mirror is put on the center of the wall in which there are two doors on each side with mirrors on their upper parts. The oak panels are moulded and sculpted with the same decor. The room dimensions are H : 138.19 Inch, L : 341.73 Inch, D : 205.51 Inch. More dimensions available on request.

Pair of Louis XVI style wood, stucco and mirror doors, circa 1970

This pair of Louis XVI style doors was made around 1970. Painted in pastel green, they present three panels composed of mirrors adorned with painted stucco elements such as rosettes in the corners or foliage scrolls. The panels are framed with stucco friezes. The handle, lock and hinges are in chased brass, the handle has an acanthus leaf decoration, the hinges are in pine cone.

Important Louis XVI style woodwork, end of the 20th century

This important Louis XVI style woodwork was made at the end of the 20th century. The light yellow panels present an antique stucco decoration enhanced with a golden patina. The frame of the overmantel as well as those of the doors take the shape of a laurel torus. The decorative panels above the doors are adorned with attributes in foliage scrolls painted in gold on a white background. The doors are flanked by rectangular panels with interlacing gilded laurel leaves on a white font. The rest of the woodwork is composed of rectangular panels framed with various gold-colored friezes. Exceptional pair of double Louis XV curved doorsn decorated on the two faces

This pair of double curved doors was made in the late 19th century od painted in white wood. They are adorned on their two faces with a very beautiful Rococo decor in low relief. The brass locks and handles on the sunck part depict a remarkable chiseled decoration made in a very fine way composed of plants also in a Louis XV style.
