Bricks insert

Some antique fireplace mantels were originally made with a brick insert. This is particularly the case for the 18th century fireplaces or Empire period fireplaces.

There are many different ways to design a bircks insert. Similarly, there are now a large variety of coloured refractory bricks from straw yellow to dark black combined with the most famous deep red and salmon color.
