An antique wrought iron window guard, originally intended for an upper-storey window. The rectangular frame is decorated with a central stylised fleur-de-lis design in hammered flat iron, flanked by scrolls and circular motifs. The composition evokes the Régence style, with its sinuous lines, symmetrical scrollwork, and central floral motif.
