Charming mantelpiece composed of glazed faience tiles decorated in cobalt blue on a white background, highlighted with yellow accents. The neoclassical-inspired decoration features winged sphinxes, antique vases, foliage scrolls, and mythological figures. The base imitates antique green marble, while the upper frieze is adorned with beading and palmettes. A rare and refined set, typical of historicist Italian production in the second half of the 19th century.
