This carved limestone fireplace features a well-balanced architectural composition supported by engaged columns resting on moulded bases. The straight lintel is adorned at the centre with a sculpted medallion depicting a three-faced mask, surrounded by a raised rope motif forming lateral arabesques. This classically inspired design likely represents an allegorical or mythological figure, in keeping with the decorative vocabulary of the late 18th to early 19th century.
