This Louis XVI style mantel was carved in stone in the 19th century. The centre of the lintel is adorned with a military trophy (feathered helmet, shields, standards). The lintel is moulded on both sides. The dice are decorated with a diamond-shaped pattern. The straight jambs take the form of fluted pilasters with cabling.
This fireplace is sold with its original sheet metal insert and with its marble floor.
