This washbasin was made at the beginning of the 20th century by the English company Twiford created in 1849 in Hanley by Thomas Twyford. The company, which specializes in ceramic sanitary appliances, is considered a pioneer in the application of hygiene principles.
The washbasin consists of a rectangular washbasin with soap taps on either side. The two turning taps for hot and cold water are decorated with the head of a fantastic animal above the water outlet. The basin is placed on a fluted column. Note the lack on the back of the foot.
