This very large flooring set consists of antique square tiles in black marble, with a deep anthracite grey colour. The surface, honed and worn by use, has a matt, slightly velvety appearance, with subtle variations that bring the stone to life.
The backs of the tiles have been resawn to obtain a regular thickness of 3 cm for most of them, which makes them easier to relay. The set also includes tiles with a cut corner intended for the corners, as well as a lot of loose tiles for cutting.
Black marble was highly prized in the 18th and 19th centuries for the floors of entrance halls, galleries and dining rooms, where it was often combined with white stone or light marble to form chequerboards or cabochon patterns. The large quantity available here makes it possible to floor an extensive space in its entirety.

- pallet 1: 72 tiles, approximately 4.8 m²
- pallet 2: 240 tiles, approximately 16.2 m²
- pallet 3: 252 tiles, plus 11 additional tiles for the corners, approximately 17 m²
- pallet 4: 132 tiles, approximately 8.9 m²
- pallet 5: 204 tiles, approximately 13.7 m²
- pallet 6: 216 tiles, approximately 14.6 m²
- pallet 7: 180 tiles, of which approximately half are reusable, approximately 6 m²
- a lot of loose tiles for corners and cuts
