Flat pedestal desk opening with 10 drawers: three drawers on a well, three drawers on the apron and four drawers on the tablet. The writing tablet in the shape of an unfolded roll with raised edges is covered with patinated leather and a glass plate. Engraved or carved decoration of motifs in the style of China and bronze dragons, birds and branches in mother-of-pearl and ivory. Handles in bronze, shaped like turtles for the four top drawers.
