This important overmantel was made at the end of the 19th century in wood and stucco painted white.
The decoration in the Louis XVI style presents a central shell inhabited by a mascaron and framed by a rich decoration of friezes of pearls and eggs, a laurel wreath, foliage scrolls as well as floral crosses on the feet.
Note some lacks and the absence of ice.
