Some missing parts in the decor and the gilt (see pictures).
This large antique overmantel mirror was made during the 19th century. The straight golden frame is elaborately decorated at the top. There is an escutcheon, and from it falls small indentations of foliage. In these foilages, there are Chimeras with wide-open mouths.
