Rare and exceptional pair of Baroque style balustrades made in different types of marble, bringing a rich polychrome: Sea Green marble, Siena Yellow, Brocatelle, Caunes Red, Black from Belgium, Saint-Anne Gray or Turquin Blue.
Curved shapes, these balustrades are decorated with the characteristic lines of the Baroque style.
This is most likely a chancel, a low fence that separates the nave of a Christian church where the faithful gather from the liturgical choir reserved for the clergy.
