This antique Neo-Classical style painted and gilded oak double door was made at the end of the 19th century - beginning of the 20th century.
The front of the doors are decorated with winged Victories and moulded panels.
The bqck of the doors are decorated with two large mirrors.
Some posterior alterations in the gilding are visible.
The thickness of the door is 3'' 3/4.
This pair of doors is based on double doors originally from the gallery on the first floor of the Hôtel de Beauharnais in Paris. These doors were the first to use the winged victories decoration.
