This mantal was made of Coromandel lacquer in black and gold circa 1900. It presents on its facade a typical decoration of the Japanese flora composed of bamboo on which lays a beautiful parrot. The overflow plank is slightly bend on each extremity reminding the Japanese architecture.
This fireplace is sold with its original insert but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availabily).
