This is a small mantel made of Carrara marble, typical of the Louis XVI style. It was made in the second half of the 19th century. The upper entablature is simple and panelled, while the jambs are fluted pilasters with rudents and rest on square bases.
This fireplace is sold with a modern cast iron insert adapted to this fireplace but without any marble floor. This one could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
