This small Louis XV style fireplace was made in the late 19th century out of Carrara marble. It depicts a beautiful sculpted Rococo style decoration. The entablature, underlined by an oblong moulding, is adorned with an important shell from where are escaping acanthus leaves. The curved feet are also richly adorned on the lower parts with acanthus leaves and on the upper parts with shells.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (please ask for marble availability).
