This small antique fireplace is from the Louis XVI style and period, during the 18th century, and is sculpted in a beautiful Brèche d' Alep marble. The entablature is decorated with an interlace patterned frieze and the the top of the entablature is carved with medallions. The jambs are fluted. A very elaborately decorated fireplace, rare for a fireplace of its size.
This fireplace is sold without any fireplace insert nor marble floor but could be made to order (subject to the choice of the marble).
